Beaux dessins, assez fins pour que les contours soient oubliés. Mais quelle déception de constater qu'il ne s'agit pas de 16 dessins différents. Mais seulement 8 imprimés 2 fois. Et comme je n'aime pas faire 2 fois la même chose, je suis déçue.

The Coloring Book arrived yesterday. It is a beautiful book but the lines are very light and if you are a Senior or you have problems with your eyes do not get this book. You have to have a magnifying glass in order to color. If I had known this I would have never bought this book. I guess if you are a real artist this might not bother you. But to me this is a majopr disappointment.

The images are duplicated. There are two of each eight pictures. Also, I might try watercolor pencil (since there are two of each), but I'm not sure the paper will hold it. Overall, the paper quality is not excellent like Floribunda, but good enough for me. The images are very detailed, and I am very happy with that. Guess the images themselves makes up for the misrepresentations of the review.Edited to add I was not happy with the results of watercolor pencil because the paper, while toothy, is pretty thin, and so puckered (a lot). Just an FYI. I still like the book but find I like it with a soft pencil like Pablo.

This is a beautiful book. The high quality artist paper, 180 gsm, is manufactured in the Netherlands. They are famous paintings you can look up on the internet for reference. I love that the images are doubled, I can paint one for myself and gift the other one to my daughter! Very pleased to have this in my collection. Cannot wait to order the giant floral one, also by Pepin Press.

Very pretty coloring book with lots of detail. IF you're a beginner you might be a little overwhelmed with this book.

Lovely images. A little bit too light for easy viewing, so use a good light source when you color these beautiful pictures.
